As aspiring bomb disposal professionals, players in Bomb Busters must work together as a team to prevent the bomb from exploding! To successfully complete their mission, they must cut identical cables – they have one part right in front of them, but they must gradually find out who has a cable with the same value. The information that each number from 1 to 12 is in the game exactly four times helps with this, as does sorting the cables of each team member in numerical order. Two cut cables with the same number bring them one step closer to defusing the bomb. However, if they cut cables with different values, the bomb’s explosion comes closer. If you cut a red cable, there will be an immediate crash and the game will end. Yellow cables with decimal numbers bring additional challenge to the game and equipment cards help with particularly tricky missions. Bomb Busters is a cooperative deduction game with 66 increasingly dangerous missions and including five surprise boxes with additional rules and materials. The cables are only cut in a figurative sense; game materials are not destroyed.
